Introduction to Salesforce.com CRM,Cloud Computing, PaaS, IaaS and SaaS

Salesforce.com is the world's leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform and many more. It is cloud computing applications based on SAAS concept for sales, service, and marketing products. 
          
It connects data generated from IoT devices, apps, and legacy data (from Oracle and SAP) to your CRM, which gives a complete view of your business by bringing all kind of data together.

It runs your business from office and even from your mobile phone to connect to customers in a  whole new way which increases productivities of the company. 


Cloud Computing:

Cloud Computing is an application on the remote server which can be accessed through internet and browser only.
e.g.  such as Gmail, Twitter, YouTube and Virtual Server (Server at remote location) etc.
For a instance, Videos is in YouTube application on remote server not on your local system.




IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service):

IaaS is a virtual server which has to be connected through internet, on which you can install software such as Operating System, Application Software etc. 
             It has scalability business concept, where you can increase or decrease your resources subscription as per your requirements, which makes it cost effective, riskless and maintenance less service. It helps us to be more focused on business rather than infrastructure.

e.g. Amazon Web Service ECS (Processor, Memory and Storage etc).


PaaS (Platform as a Service):
PaaS is a development platform bundled with different types of preinstalled software, where you will get the sandbox to develop and test your applications by using prebuilt properties, methods and components. This concept makes development easy, fast and cost effective.
e.g. Heroku and Force.com both belongs to Salesforce.com (Properties, Methods and Component Bundles etc).


SaaS (Software as a Service):
SaaS  is a combination of IaaS and PaaS services, which means you will get all compatible hardware and software to develop your application.
e.g. Salesforce CRM coming with subscription based database storage and prebuilt functionalities as software.
